Fraser Douglas

PhD Candidate in Biomedical Engineering with an MEng in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Previous academic projects include the optimization of high-density EMG sensor count for accurate transradial amputee hand gesture recognition, and the design of a virtual EMG-based rehabilitation platform for transradial amputees. Industry projects include the design of renewable energy harvesting infrastructure in Scotland, motor-actuated rehabilitation beds for multiple sclerosis, tactile feedback mechanisms for amputee touch restoration, and high-altitude weather drone control circuity.
